The Geschwister-Scholl-Europaschule is located in the town of Gütersloh in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is named after the siblings Sophie and Hans Scholl, two young students who participated in the German Resistance during WWII. Taking on their heritage, one of our main school values is to cherish, defend and value all nationalities and religions. There are more than 900 students at our school and currently 92 teachers. Students are between the ages of 10-16 years old. The diverse backgrounds of our students reflect the variety of profiles, programs and teaching methods implemented at our school (Cooperative learning forms, Erasmus+, MINT, School of the Future and member of the Healthy School Network).
Our study courses include classical science, social studies and language courses as well as sports, art and mechanics. Additionally, our school participates in a multitude of competitions and exchange programs.
