The Romanian National College “Nicolae Titulescu” is set in Craiova, in the former industrial area, an urban area - about 300 000 inhabitants. Our region Oltenia is famous for its natural beauties and its traditions, but also for its ambitious, clever and humorous people. The school has an educational division that covers both the secondary-level and high school, with more than 800 students and 40 teachers specializations on Computers, Natural Science, Social Science, Literature and Volleyball. The National College “Nicolae Titulescu” is located in the Brazda lui Novac, neighborhood on the outskirts of the city and is accessed by students whose parents earn the average wage or under it, some being out of work, and a substantial number of parents leave to work abroad. The teachers of this institution are very well professionally prepared and have a strong wish of receiving continuous training, looking for new didactic methods. The goals, objectives and strategies as well as the priorities for students were adapted for the success of the students in the school life as well for their professional and personal development. Overall activity in our College, places us on the 5th place in the hierarchy of the Dolj county schools.The extracurricular cultural activities, volunteering and sportive competitions were presented by local mass media, TV and news papers. In the school are different minorities as well as disabled students, thus they were involved with other students in national volunteer competitions, promoted environmental awareness, cultural heritage, stimulating young people to be actively involved in community needs. Our school strive to break the barriers of traditional education individualism, promote teamwork and always be consistent with the labor market, thus were created links with cultural institutions, museums, NGO and companies.
